She ruled!!!!! Quite literally!!! And I was obsessed with her when I was 8.

Bill Nye the Science Guy, lol. I was a nerd early on. I actually saw him a few weekend ago and was super disappointed Sad

edit: OH and I tended to like black inspiration figures, but mostly George Washington Carver because peanuts are awesome.

I wouldn't call them heros but I was obsessed with the Beatles when I was a kid. I was a big Paul fan.

Also, Luke Skywalker.

Ha, no! It really was all members of some folk band called The Yetties, but I have no idea what their names were. They were my first gig! I found an old LP a while ago, sadly they were not quite as magnificent as my 6 year old self remembered.
